DESCRIPTION:
"Shock" was created for the Ubisoft NEXT animation challenge under the theme Shock. Inspired by A Quiet Place, the scene captures a tense, cinematic moment in a post-apocalyptic world.

Creative Direction:
I designed a sequence where the RI Punisher character moves cautiously through a ruined landscape. Holding a gun, he searches the area, only to be startled when a creature suddenly jumps onto a nearby car. The moment of fear causes him to stumble and drop his weapon.

Animation Focus:
This piece pushed me to combine body mechanics with emotional storytelling. I focused on sudden changes in posture, timing the scare reaction, and adding a strong sense of weight and urgency during the fall and final scream for help.

"Shock" blends suspense, acting, and physicality in a horror-inspired setting—crafted to show cinematic pacing and strong character reactions under pressure.
